We arrived in Berlin the day before the show after a mad 3 day tour of Finland! Helski, Tampere and Turku...the first and last shows packed and the one in the middle full of bemused metal and rockers!! Who didn't quite understand us but still stayed and watched and clapped!! We ate alot of smoked salmon and it was daylight the whole time and really hot!

Arrived at the amazing Lido Venue in Berlin to find posters of the band all over the wall!! Thank you!! And we did our soundcheck in the beautiful red hall which was to be the opener for our short German Tour. We were really nervous as Berlin is always an importent show for us..a bit like London..sometimes the audiance can just stand still and stare...it is always nervewracking before....But we were so surprised and happy as the venue was packed full so we had a great crowd to perform to which really helps!!

Chicks on speed opened and they were amazing !! We wore Grey! They wore Dayglo and danced about with scissors to Abba!!
We went on stage and the audiance cheered.. room...what an amazing feeling...and we did the best ever show we have done in Berlin to a brilliant audience who wanted 2 encores! MTV did a short video of us backstage before the show and also filmed the entire show so we will have a live DVD soon. Kate Holmes
