3 last gigs: Shenzhen - Xiamen - Shanghaï We're better and better, our music becomes more powerful, we are confident about what we make, and people give us such a great feedback!
In Shenzhen, we played in an art gallery/restaurant. The owner wanted us to play before the football match, but we took the risk to play later, at the same time, and we won! Everyone was there for the concert, dancing crazy on the beat! Wonderful night!

Deeper and deeper in Southern China, in Guangzhou more precisely,   the air becomes unbreathable! 40 degrees celcius, bodies turn to sponges!
The 3 gigs we did in the middle of China were unbelievable! Nanjing is the door leading to the South (more tropical, other faces and glances) and we opened it by a very intense concert, half sick, feverish, losing control...
Then, the days after, Wuhan and Changsha were two of our favourite destinations for the moment. "Smaller towns", very cool people, beautiful lights, endless sweet nights!

In the train from Tianjin to Jinan where we play tonight. It'll be our third gig. We're travelling deeper and deeper in the south and in the small towns (10 million inhabitants), people watch us with more and more attention. In the railway station, we were sitting in the hall with all our material, surrounded by thousands of people, and a lot of them were taking photos of us or with us.
It's not that 1984 is really famous there, it's just the fact they love having souvenir pictures with people from Occident !

We're a small group of French people for this tour : the band of course (Kevin, Etienne, Thomas), Jérôme our sound engineer, Théo who is shooting a film about this tour, Pierre our booking agent and Arthur, his friend who is following us.

Perfect flight, departure 05:30 pm in Frankfurt, arrival in Beijing 08 :00 am.

Sat close to the ping pong senior world champion, i spoke with him about the success of Lady Gaga.

You have to walk slowly in the airport's arrival hall, infra-red cameras recording your body temperature, in order to detect the influenza, especially the H1N1 virus.

Very modern architecture, huge, massive. We thought we had lost our instruments, but they were hidden in an other hall of the airport. Then, we took the subway to Dongzhimen to find our booking agent on the gate, Pierre. During the run, we saw how every single piece of territory is under construction.

Konstanz, die Kantine: beautiful weather, we are driving through the Schwarzwald, all the colours seem unreal. Listening to Radiohead, the Maccabees, the Konstanz lake appears and we know it will be a great night!
