It took a mind-numbing 6 1/2 hours to drive the autobahn to Köln from Hamburg- due to road works!! Not one single traffic jam just roads being built and blocked off...what a nightmare!! Read half my book and day-dreamed along the way..listened to a few albums and ate chocolate...another gig., another dressing room and  another lovely rider full of all our fav yummy food like salmon and blueberries!

Did an interview for a TV show and a radio show...wearing our hot wool dresses in scorching sunshine....watched some episodes of Dmages on my computer...did soundcheck...and now ready for the show!!!

The gig is the same crowd as Hamburg..whatever we are doing we are doing right...this so far is our best ever German Tour...Chicks on Speed now..playing Heart of Glass and wearing gold leaf all over their faces...singing along..its really amazing! We absolutely love them..they are the best guests for our live show ...two girl groups..different music...different attitude but it meets in the middle and works! we are dark! they are light! I think the client crowd are won over...I hope so!!!!

We have to get up really really early tomorrow.. I am praying the hotel is not awful and I get some sleep..that is the downside of touring...you are at the mercy of hotels. Noisy rooms ( a HELICOPTER !!! landed next to the hotel in Hamburg this morning at 8am and woke us all  up- after going to bed at 2AM)  the relelentless lack of sleep is debilitating... you go from one venue to the next in a daze..a tour mood when only a glass of wine will awaken you to the real world...and the stage beckons...again.....
