 Serious Munich. We arrived at half six to what must be the posh-est street in existence. Surely the venue can't be here. May and I put on our detective hats and searched for some clues.We find the venue between the €950 shoes and the Rolex shop. Seems like a strange location but alas the venue turns out to be amazing. Looks kinda like what a Star Trek brothel would look like, if there were such a thing (Riker only generally fucked holograms). We filled our mouths with cheese and took some downtime before soundcheck then after we headed across to bar across the road. After two drinks Tom and I are informed the bar is closing so we head back to the venue to finish our pre drinks there. The bar didn't close! And was still open when we left at half four. Bastards. I know we might be beardy men but for God's sake, we are totally distinguished clientelle.  The gig goes great although alot of the crowd look like milkmen and milkmaids. Turns out later it's Oktoberfest and that's just how they dress. Afterwards, we drank Jager and vodka till our hearts content, with Pillow Fight Club and the headed home to bed around closing.Waking up was serious hard work. Serious head on. Nothing a good currywurst couldn't help. One currywurst, 2 Cokes and we're back in the van for the second half of "Clear and Present Danger". Unbelievable. We then continue our White House conspiracy fetish with a bit of 24 and drive to our hotel just outside Nuremberg. The day was a bit of a write off for me. We ate pizza and indulged in more 24 before having an early night. (23/09/2009 - 24/09/2009)
