 Day 4: Berlin is always a strange town coming from New York -- feels very much like Brooklyn, always too much happening and Sunday nights can be unpredictable at best. We played the NBI two years ago and I remember it being a decent show.

 Day 3: The family reunion continues. We headed to the record shop in Zoro, where we had coffee with a few old friends. Sometimes these moments mean more than the shows and certainly more than a short blog could ever summarize, but you get the idea.

Day 2: Oh yes, Bankfurt. Quite possibly the highlight from last tour and we were definitely looking forward to it. Good friends in town with lots of history. Short walk to the Botanical Gardens proved too expensive that afternoon, so we hung in the park. And the show -- a sweaty, former lecture hall in the squatted student center at the University. Good sound, positive vibes, long night. (09.10.09)

Day 1: Always a challenge, the first show after the flight, and this one was no different. We picked up the new piano from our friend Robert in town and hung with him for that afternoon. Nice folks and a super clean venue, but the turnout was not so great.
