The Tamborines take the DIY attitude to the extreme by building their own studio, recording and producing the album themselves and releasing it on their own imprint. Now Henrique Laurindo (vocals/guitar) and Lulu Grave (keys/vocals) are embarking on a tour across Italy, Germany and Denmark to present their debut album Camera & Tremor live on stage. Follow them with our exclusive tour diary on LAXMag!

Last day of the tour! We've been away from home for two weeks now. So much has happened: we've all managed to fall ill (next tour - a round of flu jabs, pls!), we've seen enough snow for the whole winter, we've tried every possible typical dish and drink, we've met wonderful people...

On our way to catch the ferry across the Fehmarnbelt we got caught out off-roading in a blizzard; not clever.

A well-received break which we decided to use to pay a visit to some friends in Hamburg . We went to hang out with The Pains of Being Pure At Heart who played at Grünspan, great show, great crowd, great night.

It was a cold dark Monday night when we arrived at 59:1 in the heart of Munich. We had journeyed through the depths of the misty tree-covered mountains of Austria and the south of Germany, our van frozen.

Heavy snow on the road, thought we wouldn't make it in time. But in the end it all worked out perfectly.

So then we arrived at Mono in Pescara. Really cool venue, great DJ (thanks, Emilio!) and most importantly, an amazing wall to pose in front of which made us look cool.

Well… this one’s a bit messy so let’s start from the top… After skipping breakfast (we were too lazy to get up) and about ten minutes on the road, we’re pulled over by the Polizia.

Villadossola! Surrounded by beautiful ice capped mountains we had our first show at a quirky little place called ‘Titty Twister’.
